BI Prepares Steps Towards Advanced Indonesia

Bank Indonesia (BI) in celebration of the 69th Anniversary (HUT) at the BI Building, Jakarta, Friday (1/6/2022), prepared a step towards advancing Indonesia.
"All of BI's achievements so far are the grace of God Almighty," said BI Governor Perry Warjiyo in an official statement in Jakarta on the same day.
Furthermore, he stated that there are three things that all levels of the central bank should do every birthday, namely bowing and being grateful, strengthening commitment, and preparing better steps forward.
Therefore, Perry invites all levels of BI to maintain economic stability, encourage digitalization, and concretely perform well.
BI's anniversary this time carries the theme "Encouraging Bank Indonesia's Talents to Become Credible Future Digital Central Bank Personnel to Maintain Stability and Support Economic Growth Towards Advanced Indonesia".
In addition to the anniversary celebration which was marked by various internal activities for BI employees, the anniversary momentum also involved external parties.
Various external activities include social care from various religions, appreciation to doctors and health workers, as well as families of Indonesian heroes and veterans, BI teaching across the country, social donations, launching the tagline "BI Consumer Protection", as well as the reopening of the Bank Indonesia Museum.
In addition, there are activities involving the payment system industry, namely the TikTok competition for secure transactions in the digital era. All series of activities are implemented on three pillars of activity, namely Go Better, Go Contribute , and Go Digital.
This series of activities is scheduled to take place from July 1 to August 28, 2022, taking into account the appeal from the government regarding the Covid-19 health protocol.
