The Gundam Gala: Netflix to Drop Mobile Suit Mayhem in Global Debut!

In an animated twist of fate, Bandai Namco Filmworks dropped a bombshell teaser, revealing that the much-anticipated Mobile Suit Gundam: Requiem for Vengeance is gearing up for a grand global entrance on none other than Netflix.

Gundam: Requiem for Vengeance Animation's 2nd Teaser Announces Netflix Global Debut

Prepare for a binge-worthy feast, as six 30-minute episodes of mecha madness are set to unleash chaos worldwide. This time, the battlefield shifts to the European Front, adding a continental flair to the renowned One Year War, immortalized by the OG Gundam anime.

Our leading lady is none other than Iria Sorari, striking a pose on the left (check the image below). And let's talk mechs – we've got the Zeon mobile suit Zaku II taking center stage and the Federation's mobile suit Gundam doing its thing on the right.

Hold on to your seats; directing this spectacle is the one and only Erasmus Brosdau. Adding some Aussie charm to the mix is Celia Massingham (you might know her from DC's Legends of Tomorrow and Ladies in Black), not just lending her voice but also getting her groove on with motion-capture for the animation.

What's the secret sauce behind the scenes, you ask? Well, Sunrise and Safe House are pulling out all the stops, crafting the animation using Epic Games' Unreal Engine 5. And if that's not epic enough, Gavin Hignight, the maestro behind Tekken: Bloodline and Transformers: Cyberverse, is penning this mecha masterpiece. Steering the ship is the German virtuoso, Erasmus Brosdau (you might remember him from Origin Zero and Warhammer 40.000's "The Lord Inquisitor: Seed of Ambition").

Executive producers extraordinaire Naohiro Ogata (cue applause for Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch From Mercury and Mobile Suit Gundam Thunderbolt) and Gavin Hignight are ensuring this venture reaches new heights, with Hiroaki Yura pulling the strings as the producer.

Manuel Augusto Dischinger Moura takes the reins as the main character designer, injecting his artistic flair into the mix. And when it comes to mechanical design, Kimitoshi Yamane (you know him from Cowboy Bebop, Escaflowne, and a truckload of Gundam projects) is the wizard behind the curtain. Last but not least, Wilbert Roget II (the maestro responsible for Mortal Kombat 11, Call of Duty: WWII, and Lara Croft's musical adventures) is orchestrating the sonic symphony.

So, buckle up for a mecha-filled joyride, because Gundam: Requiem for Vengeance is about to hit Netflix, guns blazing and mechs roaring!
