XL Axiata Officially Owns 51% Shares of Hypernet, Integrated IT Solution Provider for Corporations

The cellular operator XL Axiata officially took over the shares of PT Hipernet Indodata, and it has been submitted to the Financial Services Authority (OJK) on June 2, 2022.
With this acquisition, XL Axiata officially controls PT Hipernet Indodata with a majority ownership of 51% shares or 2,805 shares, with a transaction value of around 335.3 billion rupiah.
Currently, the shareholder composition of Hipernet Indodata is PT XL Axiata Tbk 51%, PT Mitra Indo Asia 34.31% and PT Magna Karya Archipelago 14.69%.
The CEO of XL Axiata, Dian Siswarini, was grateful for the smooth acquisition of PT Hipernet Indodata, and stated that this corporate action was carried out to strengthen the position and expand the scope of services for integrated ICT products and services in the digital services business to corporations.
Meanwhile, the CEO of PT Hipernet Indodata, Sudianto Oei, hopes that this corporate action can benefit all parties, and can also benefit corporations, industry and the wider community.
Hipernet Indodata is a managed service provider in the field of information and technology that can be fully adapted to customer needs.
Indodata's Hipernet services include the provision and management of information and technology resources, both software and hardware, including the provision of human resources and management of customer human resources.
Its services include internet management, WiFi, cloud, professional information technology services, and other business application services.
So far, Hipernet has served customers with corporate needs in various fields, including hospitality, tourism, health, finance, to retail.
The purpose of this share acquisition is to increase the company's competitiveness so that it can offer telecommunication products and service solutions to the corporate/enterprise market.
The corporate segment currently served by XL Axiata Business Solutions is one of the current focuses, because it makes a significant contribution in supporting the growth of the company's performance.
This is in line with the growing and increasing needs of the corporate industry for the availability of integrated ICT services, in line with XL Axiata's vision to prioritize converged services in supporting the company's operational activities.
In business terms, the merger of PT Hipernet Indodata will be claimed to strengthen XL Axiata's position as a digital service provider for the corporate market.
Currently, XL Axiata serves more than 57 million customers, with more than 133 thousand BTS, including more than 83 thousand 4G BTS, which has reached more than 460 cities/districts in various regions in Indonesia.
