Through his YouTube channel, Fabrizio Romano agent Cristiano Ronaldo reached more than 200 million Euros. Not only that, Manchester United is also lured by bonuses.

"They tried to tempt Cristiano Ronaldo , but from Cristiano's side, he didn't want to change his level. He wanted to stay at the best level of European football in general," said the 29-year-old journalist, as reported by TribunGorontalo.com.

"That's why Cristiano was never close to joining an Arab club, but they made the proposal."

The 37-year-old player is under contract with Manchester United until the summer of 2023.

Previously, the Athletic reported that the Saudi Arabian club, who was not named, was willing to give a check worth 233 million Pounds or around 275 million Euros on a two-year contract.

In fact, the rich club is ready to pay a bonus for Manchester United of 25 million Pounds.

Throughout the summer, the Madeira-born player has been linked with top European clubs, such as Chelsea and Bayern Munich.

In 2017, after winning the World Player of the Year award, Ronaldo once turned down the opportunity to transfer from Real Madrid to a Chinese club for a transfer fee of 300 million euros.

This was revealed by Jorge Mendes at the Globe Soccer Awards in Dubai.

According to a Reuters report, the unnamed club is willing to pay CR7 100 million euros per year.

However, Ronaldo clearly refused.  He only left Real Madrid, when Juventus offered him a proposal of 100 million Euros a year later.

Ronaldo left Real as the club's all-time leading goalscorer, with 451 goals in 438 games.

He has won four Champions Leagues, two La Liga titles and two Copa del Rey during his time at the Bernabeu.

In a letter posted on Real's website, Ronaldo confirmed that the player had requested a move to find a new cycle in his career.
