Want to Get Married with Cost Constraints? Flip Ready to Give IDR 100 Million Assistance
For couples who want to get married with a limited budget, Flip announced the implementation of the #FlipSeliveSemati program.
Flip will provide financial assistance worth Rp. 100 million for organizing a event wedding to one couple who won this program.
This program can be followed by prospective married couples in any region in Indonesia, who will get married in the period from 1 to 28 February.
Each couple must send a marriage proposal along with a “Love Story” video from January 10 to 21, 2021.
"Flip presents #FlipSeliveSemati as our response to help realize the dreams of prospective couples who want to get married, but are constrained by costs, especially because of the pandemic," said Andri Rahmad Wijaya, Head of Marketing Flip.
According to him, this initiative is also a form of Flip's appreciation for loyal customers in supporting the growth of the digital economy by conducting various money transactions on the Flip platform.
As we know, the Covid-19 pandemic has had a major impact on various aspects of life in society, one of which is marriage.
Economic factors are one of the reasons wedding plans were postponed during the pandemic. Based on data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the number of marriages in 2020 decreased significantly.
There were 1.79 million marriages in 2020, down about 9 percent compared to 2019, which was 1.97 million marriages. This is the lowest in the last 5 years.
