PT Panin Financial Tbk (PNLF) will distribute cash dividends of Rp 320.22 billion or Rp 10 per share. This is in accordance with the decision of the company's annual general meeting of shareholders (AGM) on June 30, 2022.
In the information disclosure, Monday (4/7/2022), it was stated that the AGMS agreed to determine the use of the parent company's net profit for the financial year ending December 31, 2021, amounting to Rp 1.32 trillion. In which, an amount of Rp 500 million will be recorded as a reserve fund in accordance with the provisions of the company's articles of association and Article 70 of Law no. 40 of 2007 concerning Limited Liability Companies.
A total of Rp 320.22 billion will be distributed as cash dividends or Rp 10 per share.
Meanwhile, the remaining Rp 1 trillion was recorded as the company's retained earnings.
The cash dividend payment date is August 3, 2022, where the date for the list of shareholders entitled to cash dividends falls on July 12, 2022.
Meanwhile, cum dividend in the regular market and negotiating market on July 8, 2022, ex dividend on the regular market and negotiating market on July 11, 2022, cum dividend on the cash market on July 12, 2022, ex dividend on the cash market on July 13, 2022.
Previously, one of the company's shareholders, namely PT Paninvest Tbk (PNIN) had increased the share ownership of PT Panin Financial Tbk (PNLF) as much as 484,343,600 shares. In the disclosure of information, it was explained that the transaction date occurred between 17-24 June 2022 at an average price of Rp. 396. Thus, the transaction value reached Rp. 191.8 billion.
Prior to this transaction, the number of PNLF shares held by Paninvest was 20,672,312,760 shares or 64.56%. After the transaction, the number became 21,156,656,360 shares or 66.07%.
For information, referring to the PNLF 2021 annual report, veteran investor Lo Kheng Hong holds 1,038,955,800 shares or 3.24% of the total PNLF shares as of December 31, 2021. Pak Lo, as he is familiarly called, is the second largest shareholder under Paninvest which at that time still controlled 62.48% of PNLF shares.
Lo Kheng Hong's ownership percentage last year was higher than the previous year. According to the PNLF 2020 annual report, as of December 31, 2020, Pak Lo owns 884,054,600 PNLF shares or 2.76% of the company's total shares. On several occasions, Pak Lo has also often referred to himself as one of the shareholders of the PNLF.
