Egi, one of the Lubuklinggau hackers a credit card burglar who was the perpetrator of the crime of carding hackers (the theft of credit card numbers) who was arrested by the East Java Police and is currently building a new house in the city where Lubuklinggau is located.
The new house of the Lubuklinggau hacker who broke into the credit card was built on Jalan Kenanga II, RT 06, Batu Urip Village, North Lubuklinggau II District.
Currently, the two-story mansion belonging to the credit card hacker from Lubuklinggau is in the final stages of construction.
This can be seen from some of the workers' belongings that have not been cleaned up. Then some of the visible ornaments are still in the painting stage.
However, since Egi was arrested, last Tuesday (9/8/2022), the workers were no longer working.
Head of RT 06 Batu Urip Village, North Lubuklinggau II District, Edwin Noparizal said that since the construction was carried out Egi had never reported it.
"During the construction of the house, I have never met, came or reported wanting to build a house," said Edwin to reporters, Wednesday (10/8/2022).
This is in contrast to other residents, even though they have just moved to their neighborhood, usually report immediately even though their identity cards are domiciled in the old area.
"Usually if there are new residents they immediately report to me, it only takes four days to report them, even though they say they are still old ID cards," he said.
At first, Edwin thought that the house he had built was a gym. At that time, he hoped that when it was finished, he could absorb local workers or local residents.
"It's been about a year since it was built, at first I thought it was a gym, but after a while it became a house. It's almost finished, I've never even met each other," he added.
Then, yesterday after receiving news that Egi was arrested by the police, his party immediately looked for Egi's youtube account, because at first they thought Egi was a youtuber.
"So far, we have received information on YouTubers, when we searched for them, there were none. We were also surprised that a YouTuber like Linggau built such a big house," he said.
Neighbor Counting Entrepreneurs and Playing Shares
EP, one of Egi's neighbors, when confirmed by Tribunsumsel.Com, just found out that his neighbors in the neighborhood where he lives were secured by the police for cyber crimes.
"I know that when there was an uproar when they were arrested, local residents received information that was taken to the police station," he said, Wednesday (10/8/2022).
He explained that Egi is a resident while his wife is a native of the Eka Marga Village, since getting married in 2019, Egi has been living in Lubuklinggau.
"Java doesn't know where, but since her marriage she has lived in Lubuklinggau until now," he said.
When he first came to Lubuklinggau, Egi admitted to local residents that he was a businessman and owned many shares in several companies.
"He admits that the entrepreneur has a lot of shares, since he got married, all the needs of his wife's family have changed. In fact, as far as we know, there are five cars in his house," he said.
To his knowledge, since moving to Lubuklinggau Egi recruited two Lubuklinggau residents, both of whom worked to help him run his business.
"We knew that he (Egi) was looking for two employees, but one chose to quit because he said he couldn't stand it and didn't fit his job, but until now we don't know what the exact job is," he said.
Recently, Egi's friend from Thailand came to visit his house. The residents also know that Egi is building a house in Batu Urip Village, North Lubuklinggau II District.
"Recently, his friend came from Thailand, including us, he is also building a new house," he said.

The Head of the Lubuklinggau Police, AKBP Harissandi confirmed the arrest and emphasized that the Lubuklinggau Police were only helping.
"The disclosure was the result of an investigation from the East Java Regional Police, there were Lubuklinggau residents playing carding and cyber hackers," Harissandi told reporters.
He explained that the perpetrators of the crime bought a house, a car, all of which had been secured by the East Java Regional Police along with the two suspects.
"The two perpetrators have also been taken to the East Java Regional Police, including the Pajero, CRV and Yaris cars that have been taken to the East Java Regional Police, the house also has a police line," he said.
Harissandi explained that according to the Cybercrime Act under the ITE Law, there was no locus of crime like the crime in East Java, but the suspect was in Lubuklinggau.
"The proceeds of the crime are billions of rupiah, so this disclosure is because the TO is the same as the East Java Police, in the end we both arrested him," he said.
