Realme Prepares HP Flagship with UltraDart 125 W in Next Year
Several HP manufacturers are now competing in bringing extra fast charging to the latest devices. Realme has confirmed that they are preparing a flagship cellphone with the UltraDart 125 W feature.
They explained that premium devices with these features are ready to be commercialized next year. This statement comes from Madhav Sheth, VP of Realme and CEO of Realme India and Europe in an interview with GSMArena .
Madhav Shet explained that they are ready to commercialize the UltraDart 125 W in 2022. Realme officials also leaked that the company is planning an " ultra-premium flagship " for the GT Series.
Even so, the CEO hasn't told about the commercial identity of the flagship HP with fast charging 125 W .
Quoted from GSMArena, Realme's 125 W fast charging technology is claimed to be able to charge a 4,000 mAh battery from 0 to 33 percent in three minutes. It also features compatibility with multiple charging protocols, including 125 W PPS, 65 W PD, and 36W QC.
For information, based on an official statement from the company, Dart Flash Charging technology from Realme continues to evolve from 30 W, 50 W, 65 W, and goes further to 125 W. They have introduced details of the 125 W fast charging feature in July 2020.
" With UltraDART 125 W, a 5G smartphone with a 4000 mAh battery capacity can be charged 33 percent in 3 minutes. This certainly greatly supports the daily use of a 5G smartphone. The reason why the battery can be fully charged in just 20 minutes is about commercialization and future safety "Realme specifically controls the temperature of the smartphone below 40 degrees when the battery is charged ," Realme wrote in an official statement some time ago
In comparison, Xiaomi's Super Charge Turbo 100 W can fully or 100 percent charge for 17 minutes on a 4,000 mAh battery.
While Vivo's 120 Watt Super FlashCharge is claimed to be able to fully charge a 4,000 mAh battery in 13 minutes.
We need to wait in the next few weeks to reveal the identity of the Realme HP series which will carry 125 W fast charging.
