Apple Prepares 12-inch MacBook with M2 Pro and M2 Max Chipsets, when will it be released?

Apple is reportedly going to update the MacBook .

Apple analyst Mark Gurman reports that Apple is considering launching a 12-inch MacBook .

Gurman predicts that entry-level and high-end MacBooks will be released in late 2023 or 2024.

The prediction about the launch of the 12-inch MacBook from Mark Gurman is supported by the popular leaker account MajinBuu.

Majin Buu in his tweet mentioned that the 12-inch MacBook will carry the high-end chipset from Apple M2.

MajinBuu mentions that the 12-inch MacBook will be powered by the M2 Pro and M2 Max chipsets.

Gurman says that the M2 Max will have a 12-core CPU and up to 38-core GPU.

When compared to the M1 Max, the M2 Max chipset has more 2-core CPU and 6-core GPU.

Apple itself is noted to have released MacBook entry-level 12-inch

The MacBook carries an ultra-thin design that weighs only 2 pounds or about 0.9Kg.

However, Apple decided to stop selling the MacBook in 2019.

If the news from Gurman and MajinBuu is true, Apple will revive the 12-inch MacBook that has been retired for 3 years.

In addition to being present in the 12-inch MacBook, MajinBuu predicts that the M2 Pro and M2 Max will be released on the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros.

Apple is also rumored to be updating the latest generation of the iPad Pro line with the M2 chipset.

It will be interesting to see how Apple will update its line of Macs and iPads with the second generation of Apple Silicon chipsets.
