The National Human Rights Commission (Komnas HAM) has examined a team of forensic doctors related to the death of Brigadier Novriansyah Yoshua Hutabarat alias J. Brigadier Komnas HAM assessed that the forensic doctor from the police had explained comprehensively about the autopsy of Brigadier J.
"A few days ago we invited the Dokkes (Medicine and Health) team to come here, and as promised, it came right at that time and gave the widest possible information to Komnas HAM. "said Komnas HAM Chairman Ahmad Taufan Damanik at Komnas HAM, Monday (25/7/2022).
Taufan said that the comprehensive information from the National Police Dokkes team would later be reviewed by Komnas HAM. In addition, the information will be synchronized with information from Brigadier J and experts invited by his party.
"But until the end of the meeting, we felt that the information from the Dokkes team was very comprehensive. And later we will process the results, we combine them, cross the analysis with the results we previously got, both from the family of the late Joshua and experts that we invited," explained Taufan.
Taufan explained that Komnas HAM has experts who are used to assisting independent investigations carried out by his side. This expert analysis will assist Komnas HAM in concluding the results of its investigation.
"(Experts) are usually a companion to Komnas HAM in carrying out investigative work. In order to make it easier for us to draw conclusions, make recommendations with the help of the expert," explained Taufan.
He confirmed that Komnas HAM had collected materials related to the investigation into the death of Brigadier Yoshua at the house of the inactive Head of the National Police's Propam Division, Inspector General Ferdy Sambo. "We have collected all the materials," concluded Taufan.
death Brigadier J's has been in the public spotlight until President Joko Widodo (Jokowi). National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo immediately responded to public pressure to reveal the facts of Brigadier J's death by forming a special team, which involved Komnas HAM and Kompolnas.
Most recently, Sigit responded to Brigadier J's family request for a re-autopsy. The National Police then collaborated with the Indonesian Forensic Doctors Association (PDFI) to re-examine the body of Brigadier J. The National Police also involved a forensic doctor from the Central Army Hospital (RSPAD) Gatot Soebroto in a re-autopsy, as requested by Brigadier J's family attorney, Kamarudin Simanjuntak.
